Jasmine + Darin = Engagement!

I recently had the pleasure of taking Jasmine & Darin's photos for their engagement.  J&D are from Down East Maine and will be getting married in Machias this summer.  I have never done a wedding in Machais and I am very excited! These two were a blast. So fun and laid back, just wanted natural interesting pictures. (which of course I love) so we walked around the Augusta Arboretum and looked at all the trees (Darin quizzed Jasmine, a forest ranger, on tree identifications all along the way)  I am so excited to shoot their wedding next summer!

Kara + Mike = Wedding!

My last wedding of the season was Kara & Mike's. A rainy fall day that was transformed into the perfect day by the warm family and friends and beautiful and loving couple, Kara and Mike. I had worked with K&M on their engagement photoshoot and just clicked with this creative and passionate couple. They both love their tattoos and fantasy and creativity which is a couple after my own heart. Kara gave me free range to go crazy with fun editing of their engagement photos and we put a bunch of fun and fabulous results in their guestbook. with all of this, I knew I would also love shooting their wedding. And I did!

Angie + Brian = Wedding!

Angie and Brian got married on a chilly rainy day. Dispite the fact that the weather was not "ideal" it did not make any difference in the joy and fun that this event brought to all who attended. The weather did cooperate for pictures (which I always appreciate) and stopped raining just after the ceremony and for exactly long enough to take the formals. Just perfect!

Angie with her morning "orange juice"

Perfection!

Angie's Nieces admiring how beautiful they look.

I just love fall colored bouquets!

Angie, you are so gorgeous!
Brian, just barely showing his nerves

Sexy ladies, waiting for the ceremony

Angie and her dad, beaming!

I think he likes what he sees.

Thank you Mother Nature!

The doors are one of the wedding colors, perfect!

Not everyone likes the cut off shots, but absolutely love them! I can see this as a large canvas.

Couldn't resist this twisty stem on this pumpkin for the rings shot.
The cake and homemade PIE table was a BIG hit! I love it!

First dance, a surprise montage that Angie and Brian rehearsed to entertain thie guests.
And the girls waited all day to hear THEIR song. Miley Cyrus: Party in the USA

Erica + Seth = Wedding Day!

Erica & Seth got married on a sunny cool day In Rockport. WIth fabulous fall colors and amazing small details, this wedding was very memorable. I know their guests had a great time and so did I!

I just love her bouquet! What colors!

Dresses that lace up the back make a great impression and can make a nice memory if someone special is lacing it up, like mom.

Erica, you put that garter on so gracefully and you didn't even have to try! Beautiful picture!

Beautiful

Seth holding the rings.
All smiles and laughter, what a way to start a life together. :)

Good call on this red bush, Erica. What a gorgeous couple!

Here's where I knelt in pricklies, but well worth this picture I think. :)

All of the wedding party came in to the reception with sunglasses.

Erica opening her gift from Seth. I wonder if she likes it??

In love.

Abby + Joe = Wedding!

Abby & Joe's wedding took place at Martindale Country Club in Auburn. The perfect weather for a gorgeous wedding. Abby & Joe were the most down to earth, fun and sweet people (not to mention gorgeous!) and I had such a great day photographing their wedding. Their loving and supportive family and friends topped off this terrific day.

Amazing dress made more amazing by the beautiful bride wearing it!

Peeking at the guests coming in.

Such a fabulous bouquet. (plus you know how I love ring shots)

Abby and her mom looking at the thoughtful gift she just received from Joe. 2 Chamilia Beads for her bracelet. She LOVED them so she wore it for the wedding.

Joe receiving Abby's gift to him. A Moxie shirt honoring the second love of his life, their dog Moxie.

Dad and Step Dad walking their girl down the isle. What a smile!

Can you even believe what a beautiful view? And the background is nice too. ;)
Notice the sign on the arbor, a surprise gift from the family to the B&G

A little breeze + pretty veil + perfectly timed kiss = Adorable shot!

I just love this picture.
Speaks for itself.

Say hello to Chocolate Fountain.

Relaxing as Husband and Wife. :)

The Slacker

I apologize for getting way behind on posting blogs over the last couple of months. I have had a ton of amazing weddings that I can't wait to get up here. So in the next week I should be getting a bunch of new weddings posted. Keep checking!

Crystle + Jonas = Wedding day!!

Crystle and Jonas got married in Bangor and had the most PERFECT weather for a wedding, ever! I had a blast shooting their amazing day and I knew I had some great shots so I had to take time and get these up. Everything seemed to flow with perfect ease and once the nerves of the ceremony were over, EVERYONE made the most out of a perfectly planned and super fun reception at the Bangor Ramada.

Crystle= Super cool, gorgeous bride. Got everyone else ready and coolly slipped into her sexy gown with time to spare. Her brides maid had some tears shortly after this, probably remembering her wedding day which wasn't too long before this one.
Look out Jonas...... unfortunately the garters showed through her silky dress so she wore them on her bouquet. Luckily she had some quick thinking bridesmaids. :)

Oh the nerves were setting in.

Even the pugs were nervous!!!!
I loved her shoes, she liked the idea of having the rings on them, and this bed worked out great as a backdrop. I am in love with this picture!

So cute! I love this one too.

Crystle and her dad, walking the path to Jonas. The sun was in the perfect spot. Another winner.First kiss + First butt grab as a married couple. This is SO them!
Crystle's idea, I love it!! We will see this pose again!

The fam. (the pugs were so good during the ceremony, not so much the night before at the hotel.)
